Animal teaser: Netizens accuse Sandeep Reddy Vanga of copying Ranbir Kapoor's fight scene from South Korean film Oldboy

The pre-teaser of Ranbir Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna and Bobby Deol starrer Animal has packed a solid punch with its gritty action sequences and dramatic background score. While the official teaser has grabbed eyeballs, it has also garnered attention for some wrong reasons.
Many people have taken to social media to call out director Sandeep Reddy Vanga for allegedly copying Ranbir's intense fight scene from the South Korean film Oldboy, which released in 2003 and continues to have a major fan following.

Despite the accusations, many people have liked the slick and chic teaser of Animal and they are already impressed with Ranbir's rugged avatar.

The teaser begins with several people can be seen wearing skull masks, white shirts, black waistcoats, and ties. They wielded axes as well. Ranbir walks in with an axe in his hand to fight with the group. He swung his axe as he slaughtered several people, many of whom managed to flee.

Ranbir can be seen wearing white dhota and kurta. He kept her beard and hair long. The teaser only showed a portion of the actor's face but some scars on his face were visible.
Meanwhile, Animal will face a big box office clash with Sunny Deol's upcoming film Gadar 2 and Akshay Kumar's next OMG 2. The movie is all set to hit the theatres on August 11.
